A spectacle ends Sofia's campaign as “Sports Capital of the World in 2024”

As the “Sports Capital of the World for 2024”, Sofia, together with the Vasil Levski National Sports Academy, is organizing an International Conference under the auspices of UNESCO, Eurosities and ACES EUROPE on the topic “For active eco-tourism, for health and sustainable events”. World-renowned experts in the field, as well as leading experts from the country, participated in the forum in the renovated official hall of the National Academy of Sciences with presentations, speeches and interactive panel discussions.

On Tuesday evening, the “Asics Arena” Hall hosted a big show, which symbolically closed Sofia's campaign as the “Sports Capital of the World in 2024”.

For the first time, Sofia became the sports capital of Europe in 2018.
