The City Public Security Directorate has activated the protocol and is detaining the two elements, a man and a woman, who were accused of physical assault and sexual harassment by a young woman.
The head of the company, César Antonio Perales Esparza, said that the case immediately became known, which was notified to the 911 emergency service, they secured the two agents who are at the site of the Municipal Police and the area available to the Ministry of the Interior and the Council of Honor and Justice.
“When the State Attorney General's Office requests it, they are ready to provide the necessary information,” said the company's official, after pointing out that since the victim is already under the protection of the institutions, he will not reveal more.
Perales Esparza assured that this type of behavior will not be tolerated by the Torreón Municipal Police, although this is the first accusation of sexual harassment against some elements.
The two police officers will remain at the company's premises until the FGE determines whether, based on the complaint, other factors arise to continue the investigation.so, until then, other measures would be taken, such as suspension or separation from the position.
