A floating gas station located near the municipality of Coari, in the interior of Amazonas, caught fire this Wednesday afternoon (16).

A video shared on social media showed that the fire was large and frightened residents, as the station was close to floating houses.

The community itself tried to extinguish the fire before the authorities arrived, because there were fears of an explosion at the location.

So far there is no information on the cause of the fire and whether there were any casualties.
