Aston Martin has put its flagship on the tallest residential building in the United States, south of New York.
Construction wrapped last week on Aston Martin Residences Miami, a 66-story sail-shaped tower on the Atlantic coast developed by the British ultra-luxury brand.
Almost all of its 391 condos were sold before completion. More than 50 of the buyers own an Aston Martin vehicle.
“Fusing a captivating design aesthetic with one of the city's most idyllic locations, on one of the last parcels of Miami's waterfront, the ultra-luxurious Aston Martin Residences adds further distinction to Miami's already expressive skyline,” Marek Reichman, Principal Aston Martin creative. , he said in a statement.
“We believe this project firmly sets the mark for luxury residential design around the world. We are delighted to have extended our design and craftsmanship expertise to a project of this stature. These ventures allow us to further grow our creative experience and expertise and expand Aston Martin into new aspects of the world of ultra-luxury that appeal to both our current and future customers.”
The project was created thanks to the collaboration between architect Rodolfo Miani, developer G&G Business Developments and designers from the Aston Martin studio in Gaydon, England.
“Since this idea came up with the first draft, everything has taken on a kind of majesty,” Miani said. “Working together with the Aston Martin and G&G teams has expanded our vision to create an architectural masterpiece that will enhance the beauty of the city. This collaboration between the worlds of architecture and automobile was a true alliance that brings a heightened symphony of design and detail to all aspects of the building.”
The building features doors with custom-crafted Aston Martin handles, number pedestals and tan leather pull tabs. Residents have access to 42,275 square feet of “amenities from heaven,” including a fitness center, an art gallery, two movie theaters, a golf simulator, a spa and a beauty salon.
An infinity pool on the 55th floor overlooks Biscayne Bay, accompanied by a sky bar and lounge, chef's kitchen, ballroom and private dining areas.
The building is crowned by seven one- to five-bedroom penthouses with private pools and terraces. The main unit spans three floors with a total of 27,191 square feet of living space.
Residents can use a dedicated superyacht marina and a 24/7 private butler service which Aston Martin says can “take the stress out of home management by offering luxury travel support and a number of other services.
