Bryson DeChambeau has no doubts about getting rid of the PGA Tour for the rival LIV Golf tournament, backed by Saudi Arabia.
Before LIV Golf Singapore, The 2020 US Open champion expressed his belief that the future of LIV Golf is bright while speaking to the media at a press conference alongside Phil Mickelson on Thursday.
“We know it will be here, bigger, badder and better than ever. It will continue to grow for the next five to 10 years,” DeChambeau said.

“I think there may be an opportunity for this to be, from an audience perspective, even bigger. You'll see a lot more interactions between the teams. I think the competition between the teams will increase. The rivalries will intensify.”
Mickelson expressed a similar sentiment but acknowledged a level of uncertainty.
“I think a lot is going to happen in the next five or ten years. I'm very optimistic and excited about what that means for LIV Golf. But there is also a lot of uncertainty.”
Of the things he does know, Mickelson said: “I think the quality of the players will continue to improve every year. I think the capacity and the locations that we move around the world will continue to excite the players and excite the fans. We will go further. countries outside the United States that are really hungry for world-class professional golf, and we will have many more receptions like we had in Adelaide.
“I just see the game of golf growing to a much more global base because of the enthusiasm and presence that LIV Golf has.”

LIV is coming off a big weekend at the LIV Golf Adelaide tournament at The Grange Golf Club in Australia, where three-time PGA Tour winner Brendan Steele won his first tournament since last winning on the PGA Tour in 2017 .
The players will travel to Singapore this weekend and then take a month-long break before the next tournament in Houston. He PGA Championship begins in Kentucky on May 16.
