Nearly 1,000 people took part in this charity event organized by Secadero in the municipality of Casares.
The charity walk 'Secadero with a Pink Flag' has raised more than €16,000 for the fight against breast cancer. The Pink flag (Pink Flag) association, the city of Secadero and the Tenencia de Alcaldia managed to bring together almost a thousand people who took part in a day of charity and community on April 6.
The organization announced the amount raised for the 3rd Charity Walk, which amounted to a whopping €16,361. More donations are yet to be counted, including €500 allocated by the Active Maturity Program.
The Bandera Rosa Association also thanked all the people who participated in the Sponsored run and the activities organized in Secadero and explained that this amount goes to the CNIO, the National Cancer Research Center; to conduct research into metastatic breast cancer and to help support patients and their families.
