Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the gained 0.61% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the were Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:), which rose 3.76% or 138.00 points to trade at 3,810.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:) added 3.04% or 350.00 points to end at 11,860.00 and Airport City Ltd (TASE:) was up 3.00% or 177.00 points to 6,077.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:), which fell 1.67% or 85.00 points to trade at 5,008.00 at the close. Melisron (TASE:) declined 1.14% or 310.00 points to end at 26,900.00 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:) was down 1.07% or 260.00 points to 24,060.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 262 to 189 and 88 ended unchanged.
Shares in Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:) rose to all time highs; up 3.04% or 350.00 to 11,860.00.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 2.16% or 1.76 to $83.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.05% or 0.04 to hit $86.99 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.90% or 42.10 to trade at $2,254.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.64% to 3.69, while EUR/ILS rose 0.69% to 3.98.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 104.27.
