Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the declined 1.26%.
The best performers of the session on the were Camtek Ltd (TASE:), which rose 5.69% or 1,520.00 points to trade at 28,240.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Electra Ltd (TASE:) added 1.70% or 2,430.00 points to end at 145,200.00 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:) was up 1.19% or 920.00 points to 78,500.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:), which fell 4.00% or 41.00 points to trade at 972.00 at the close. Melisron (TASE:) declined 3.93% or 1,090.00 points to end at 26,660.00 and Strauss Group (TASE:) was down 3.90% or 300.00 points to 7,400.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 343 to 123 and 70 ended unchanged.
Shares in Camtek Ltd (TASE:) rose to all time highs; rising 5.69% or 1,520.00 to 28,240.00.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.82% or 0.60 to $72.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.24% or 0.19 to hit $77.96 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.33% or 6.70 to trade at $2,044.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.78% to 3.77, while EUR/ILS rose 0.17% to 4.10.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.77% at 102.94.
