Adele details surprising ‘fitness’ plans after Las Vegas residency shows wrap in June

The highly publicized Weekends with Adele will end in June after kicking off in November at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

After 100 shows, the singer has opted against putting her feet up but will get her steps in with a different performance to keep herself busy.

During her latest gig on Saturday, the chart-topper told concertgoers she was determined to get her to strengthen her core.

Adele shared: “I don’t normally do New Year resolutions but I want to build my muscles in my core and my goal at the end is to learn how to do a backflip and not be in pain.

“So New Year’s Eve next year, I’m going to be in such good solid shape – that’s going to be such good fun – that I can do a backflip somewhere.”

She reflected: “My grandmas and my aunties when I was younger would play bingo on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

“I used to think that maybe they had a gambling problem and it wasn’t until I was older I realized it was a socializing thing more than anything.

“They go in with those big fat pens, the really satisfying ones… but I was never allowed in because obviously, you have to be at least 16 because it is gambling.”

The recently confirmed wife of Rich Paul added: “I was never allowed in so I used to sit in the car whilst they go and do the bingo and stuff like that.

“So then I was like, ‘Oh maybe I can start actually doing it in real life’, but they’ve closed down. We used to have one called Gala Bingo… Anyway, I’m gonna start hosting a weekly bingo.”
