BBC Call The Midwife’s Helen George spotted on double date with co-star after split

Call The Midwife co-stars Helen George and Olly Rix looked close once again as they enjoyed an outing together.

The actors were spotted in Kensington, London as they joined Helen’s friend for a pub lunch.

Helen, 39, and Olly, 36, arrived and left together in a taxi along with the actress’ dog. They worked up an appetite for their meal by walking the pooch and Helen could be seen nipping out of the venue to take her pup for a toilet break.

The BBC colleagues are said to be supporting each other as they navigate through their heartbreak after they both split from their respective partners last year.

The actors are known for their roles as on-screen married couple Trixie Franklin and Matthew Aylward in the BBC drama.

They were pictured leaving the pub as the duo opted for casual attire as Helen wrapped up in a leather coat that featured a fur-lined collar which she paired with dark jeans and a fitted black top. She finished her look with a pair of towering heels which elongated her long legs.

The BBC star looked strikingly different from her on-screen character as she donned dark tresses as opposed to her blonde locks.

Olly kept it casual in a grey sweater paired with jeans and trainers.

Their appearance comes after Helen’s stint on the West End show for the King and I wrapped up on Saturday night.

Earlier this year, Helen announced that she had split from her actor partner Jack Ashton after seven years together.

During the same period, Olly announced he had separated from his girlfriend Natasha Fagri.

Helen previously confirmed her separation from Jack to the Mirror, telling the publication: “Some months ago, we separated.

“Our two beautiful girls remain the focus and I respectfully ask for privacy for this next chapter.”

The former couple share two young daughters together.

Meanwhile, Helen and Olly are said to be supporting each other as they navigate through their heartbreak.
