BBC The Weakest Link viewers left ‘swooning’ over ‘ageless’ Rufus Hound

The Weakest Link viewers were left stunned by Rufus Hound’s latest look as the comedian took part in the celebrity version of the BBC One quiz show. Romesh Ranganathan was back at the helm asking an all-star cast quick-fire questions in exchange for cash.

The eight celebrities initially work together to bank as much money as possible before voting off the weakest link in each round. Following a final head-to-head, one player bags all of the prize money for their chosen charity.

The celebrity contestants who competed in the latest episode were Stacey Dooley, Adrian Chiles, Josie Gibson, Rufus Hound, GK Barry, Guz Khan, Sophie Duker, and Mark Lane. Before the players were asked any questions by Romesh, they all introduced themselves to the camera.

Within minutes of Saturday’s episode (March 30) kicking off, fans wasted no time in taking to social media to comment on Rufus’ ‘ageless’ looks as he was welcomed to the show.

Comedian Rufus, 45, has ditched his trademark goatee for a clean-shaven look and has also shortened the length of his hair for a more sleek image, and fans loved it.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), viewers of the BBC quiz left flurries of comments for Rufus with @MarionIMcLean saying: “Was that Rufus Hound on the Weakest Link? He’s definitely getting younger – I barely recognised him!.” (sic)

@Wendy_OB asked: “How does @RufusHound look twenty years younger than he did twenty years ago? Very impressive.”

@MadgeHooks commented: “Is Rufus Hound aging backwards? He’s looking great! #TheWeakestLink.”

@Scar57495082 cheekily exclaimed: “@RufusHound looking young, fresh, and rather fanciable!.”

“Damn Rufus Hound has had a bl***y glow up, hasn’t he?! Man is aging backward I swear #theweakestlink”, added @LewisJ815.

“Well, whatever he’s doing is working for him! He looks bl***y great!”, stated @jojimojo.

@RachelB451 chimed in with: “Rufus Hound has had a bit of a glow hasn’t he? #theweakestlink.”

Following six eliminations, Rufus and Mark Lane were the last two contestants in the game and faced the head-to-head round.

Rufus answered his first three questions correctly while Mark failed to answer any making the TV star and comedian the winner of the show.

As the strongest link, Rufus won £8,500 for his chosen charity and confirmed to Romesh he was donating it to The Refugee Council.

The Weakest Link airs on Saturday evenings on BBC One and iPlayer.
