Stand-up comedian Neel Nanda has died aged 32, according to The Comedy Chateau and The Port Comedy Club. Further details are not known at this time.
Fellow comedian Matt Rife wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: “RIP Neel Nanda you were one of the nicest, hardest working comedians I’ve ever called a friend and i hope you can be at peace brother.”
Actor Dane Cook also expressed his condolences on the platform, adding: “I didn’t know Neel Nanda personally but reading several tributes is both heart breaking and eye opening. I echo so many in expressing there is help out there.
“Please remember you are never alone. People want to help you. There is a path through your pain. Prayers to Neels family, friends and fans.” A third typed: “I loved Neel Nanda. I’m watching his reels laughing and crying right now. He taught me so much about being self made. Never had a bad thing to say about anyone.
“He called me bluetooth because I was an “AirPod douche” Rest in peace. Already miss you buddy.” Neel’s television credits include Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Comedy Central’s Adam Devine’s House Party.
He also starred on the Amazon Prime show Inside Joke and the Hulu series Coming to the Stage.
Earlier this month, the comedian expressed excitement to be performing on his birthday weekend.
In a seperate post promoting the gig, he added: “I feel blessed.”
