Coronation Street star Sair Khan pregnant with first child with boyfriend Nathan Chilton

Coronation Street star Sair Khan has revealed she is pregnant with her first child. The ITV actress broke the exciting news on social media today, telling fans she was experiencing a “real mix of emotions”.

The former I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! contestant has played Alya Nazir on the soap since 2014. Sair has reportedly been in a relationship with boyfriend Nathan Chilton since 2021 after she broke up with fellow soap star Simon Lennon in 2019.

Taking to Instagram today, the couple shared their happy news in view of Sair’s 278,000 followers. The actress wrote: “Hello… It’s been a little while since posting on here which has been a real mix of emotions.

“With all that is happening in the world it didn’t feel like the right time to share. But we also know it’s okay to keep hope and pray for peace whilst acknowledging that we feel blessed and grateful.

“Last year was a challenging time for us both with Nathan’s chondroblastoma surgery on his pelvis. It’s been a long road to recovery and still has many obstacles ahead as we deal with the spread of the tumour to his lungs.”

She continued: “Life can be difficult and there’ll always be challenges to face but there are also important lessons to be learnt and gifts to be cherished.

“We’re so excited for the arrival of Baby Chilton in Spring 2024.”

Sair’s Corrie co-stars quickly took to the comments section to share their congratulations with the thrilled couple.

Kimberly Hart Simpson wrote: “Oh myyyyyyyy I am so happy for you. Amazing. Love to you both.”

Ex-Corrie actor Jack James Ryan said: “Beautiful news. Huge congratulations to you both.”

Tanisha Gorey, who plays Asha Alahan added: “Woo hoo!!!!! Congratulations.”

Former Coronation Street and Emmerdale star Hayley Tamaddon gushed: “Oh darling I’m so so happy for you.”

While Kym Marsh penned: “Oh this is beautiful news. Sending you both lots of love.”
