Coronation Street’s Tyrone Dobbs questions children’s safety around Cassie after attack

Coronation Street’s Cassie Plummer (played by Claire Sweeney) could lose the trust of her son Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) after the attack on Terry, the dog abuser. This week, Cassie is set to break into Terry’s home and steal the money and puppies that he has stashed in his derelict home.

Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) was desperate to get Terry locked up after she witnessed him mistreating his dog, and in the end, recorded him being abusive to her. However, it was recently revealed that he was sentenced to community service after he pleaded guilty to the crime.

In upcoming scenes, Cassie is confronted by Terry after she breaks into his home and leaves her family feeling worried about her well-being and if she is able to stay in the family home.

Official spoilers reveal that Cassie calls in at the shop and tells Evelyn that she’s donated Terry’s money to a dog charity and that she only attacked him to stop him from hurting the dogs.

Later, Tyrone tells Evelyn that Fiz Dobbs (Jennie McAlpine) is attending a course in Italy and has invited him to go with her.

He admits his worry about Cassie and explains that he wouldn’t dare to leave the girls with Cassie for a fortnight, especially after her actions recently.

Roy Cropper (David Neilson) assures Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) that she’s welcome to move back into her old bedroom and he’ll have a word with Evelyn.

Has Cassie lost the trust of her son once and for all? How many mistakes will the family forgive before Cassie no longer has their support?

Last week, fans were left furious with Cassie after she attempted to break up Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) and Abi Webster (Sally Carman).

After stealing a client’s Porche from the garage, she realised she had scratched it and put Abi’s tool trolley infront of the car to frame her.

She flirted with Kevin infront of Abi and when the owner of the car came back and realised what had happened, Cassie claimed they could get it done within 24 hours, full well knowing that it wouldn’t be possible.

Viewers of the show noticed what Cassie was doing, flirting with Kevin and getting Abi out of the way and theorising on their X accounts, formerly known as Twitter.

@fussyMcWhiskers said: “#corrie Cassie is slippier than a barrel of eels. How could she blame Abi? I hope Roy tells Kevin that Cassie took the car!”

@TellyVsPodcasts commented: “Cassie is a narcissist manipulator- she doesn’t even want Kev…. But can’t stand Abbie & Kevin are happy.”

@Samanth22356123 added: “They better not be pushing Cassie and Kev together!!!!! #Corrie.”

Bobby Dazzler quipped: “#Corrie Cassie is playing a dangerous game trying to split Kev & Abi up.”

Ryan Glendenning penned: “Cassie is a cow – driving friction between Abi and Kevin given how much Abi supported Cassie initially. #Corrie.”

Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
