Dancing on Ice contestant Amber Davies has given a crushing blow just hours before the second live show of the skating series, which is fronted by Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern.
Amber started off the series as one of the front-runners, with Ladbrokes giving her odds of 3/1 to win the series as she took to the ice alongside Ryan Thomas and Ricky Hatton.
However, after Ryan’s impressive performance on the ice, Ladbrokes predicted Ryan could soon overtaker as the favourite as Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “We’ve now seen half of the field take to the ice, and our traders are seemingly convinced Ryan Thomas will end up being the one to beat…
“While Amber continues to head the betting, the Corrie star has already seen his odds slashed in half, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see him lead the way in a couple of weeks from now.”
And now Amber has seen her odds be slashed as she has dropped from 3/1 to 9/2, making her now fourth favourite to win after Ryan, Miles Nazaire and Greg Rutherford.
It seems Ryan is now the one to beat this series, as Apati added: “Ryan Thomas has been the subject of a flurry of bets over the last few days, and punters are fast believing he’s the one to beat this series.”
Ricky still remains favourite to leave the show first, with odds of 80/1 to win the show, which comes after he punched Stephen Mulhern live on air.
Holly Willoughby was left stunned as Ricky knocked Stephen to the ground live on air after she joked that he should punch him after a skit between Mulhern and Hatton over a microphone.
Later, Stephen told MailOnline: “Ricky is one strong man, I asked him to punch me as a gag forgetting for a moment that he is a three-time boxing world champion and yes it hurt a lot!”
Meanwhile, Ricky has vowed to come back stronger tonight, as he told The Sun: ” “I half expected to be at the bottom, but it’s about doing the best that I can and the best performance that I can.
“Robin [Johnstone] has seen me from where I started from, so has Torvill and Dean.
“I didn’t think this was possible. I nearly chucked the towel in to be honest.”
Dancing on Ice continues tonight at 6.30pm on ITV1.
