The panel of Good Morning Britain were left red-faced after an accidental mishap happened when touching on the Emmy Awards. On Tuesday’s instalment of the ITV show, Richard Arnold was sharing some highlights from the glamorous night in Hollywood.
Touching on some of the A-list guests, He said: “Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe, looked dapper as he rocked up alongside his longtime girlfriend Erin Darke. Their appearance marks one of the couple’s first public-”
However, it looks as though there was an error in the greenroom as the wrong clip was shown to the viewers. Instead of Daniel and his partner, it was the actor with a male colleague instead.
The panel was taken aback by the blunder as host Susanna Reid quipped:”Sorry?!” Laughing, Richard commented: “I don’t think that’s- that’s definitely not her!”
Susanna added: “No judgement, but I don’t think we got that right.” Finding the mishap hilarious, the panel were in hysterics laughing at the wrong clip being shown.
The entertainment reporter added: “No judgement but I don’t think that’s the couple’s first public outing.
“Although it could be an outing in every other sense!”
Chiming in, Ed Balls quipped: “It’s the modern world, you can never be surprised these days.”
Trying to change the conversation topic, Richard replied: “Absolutely, let’s move swiftly on.”
Elsewhere in the entertainment segment, the panel touched on the new series of Love Island All Stars which aired on Monday night.
The ITV series saw the return of 12 former contestants who are returning to the villa to try and find romance once again.
During the episode, the islanders were informed that they wouldn’t be choosing their own partnership, it would be down to the public.
Although when each person was put into their new couple’s host Maya Jama dropped a major bombshell.
Entering as a late addition was Callum Jones, who recently split from his Love Island girlfriend Molly Smith six months ago.
However, little did he know that his recent ex would also be entering the villa as a bombshell.
In a major twist, viewers learnt they could either pick one of the islanders to couple up with or opt to go with each other.
Will the duo rekindle their romance after their break-up?
Good Morning Britain continues weekdays on ITV from 6am.
