ITV James Martin fans marvel at ‘total food porn’ as mouth-watering dishes unveiled

James Martin treated his fans to some truly delicious-looking recipes on his ITV programme today. James Martin’s Saturday Morning was off to a flying start, as many viewers wrote in to praise the chef for serving up some “proper grub” on his popular show.

James, 51, cooked up the scrumptious dishes for Madness frontman Suggs. He was also joined by chefs Daniel Galmiche, Cyrus Todiwala and author Alysia Vasey, who shared their recipes and foraging tips with viewers on the programme today.

The first recipe James shared this morning looked particularly indulgent, as it featured plenty of melted cheese. The warm gouda fondue with nibbles included a generous amount of cheese dip, as well as a whole medley of vegetables.

The description of the dish on James’ website reads: “Warm Gouda Fondue with Nibbles! Great for sharing.

“Serve with a host of vegetables, chorizo and pancetta! James used Gouda from the Cornish Gouda Co!”

Fans quickly took to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, to share their appreciation.

Karen wrote: “Watching James Martin’s Saturday Morning. Oh my God it’s total food porn. Cheese fondue. I love food!” (sic)

Juliet gushed: “My happy Saturday morning. On my sofa with a cappuccino ( drank already), and the wonderful James Martin. Currently talking CHEESE, one of my favourite things. Yum . Have a good day all. Oooo it’s NOT RAINING!!! here Up North. Yaaaaay.” (sic)

Replying to a tweet capturing a mouth-watering image of the fondue, Karen added: “Just watched this. Total food porn. Nomnom.” (sic)

“Great start to the show,” Craig responded with a hands clapping emoji, while Jayne penned: “Who doesn’t love Cheese. Yum.” (sic)

Another recipe that caused a stir was James’s breakfast waffles with all the trimmings.

His website describes the dish as “a proper fry-up with sausages, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms and homemade potato waffles thrown in for good measure!”

Reacting to the breakfast classic, Marilyn tweeted: “Could eat that right now.”

While Jayne enthused: “That will do. Proper Grub.”

James Martin’s Saturday Morning airs next Saturday at 9:30am on ITV1 and ITVX.
