ITV The 1% Club viewers make some complaint as show thrown into chaos ‘Absolute shambles’

The 1% Club returned to ITV on Saturday as viewers at home joined in with Lee Mack and the game show’s contestants but some viewers weren’t happy with one element of the show.

The show’s format sees 100 contestants begin every show – but to make it to the end and win the top prize of up to £100,000, contestants must correctly answer a question only 1% of the country would get right.

On Saturday night, viewers of the prime-time show, took to X, formerly Twitter, just minutes into the quiz as they complained the online app crashed while trying to play at home.

@GeeHizzle tweeted: “So annoying that the app isn’t working! #1percentclub”

@Jakesmum echoed: “App failed May aswell go to bed lol #1percentclub.”

@puthetellyon tweeted: “App crashed. Useless. #1PercentClub.”

@DFTPNK02 said: “The app crashed and I’m out but I knew the answer #The1PercentClub.”

@JamesL25 fumed: “App not working again #the1percentclub,” while Annie chimed: “Absolute shambles.”

@2001joe_mendy commented: “The app decided to misbehave, but I knew that anyway. #The1PercentClub.”

The 1% Club allows viewers at home to play along with the show contestants.

Others admitted they didn’t have any inconvenience with the mobile app as @pearlsgirl73 tweeted: “As if I have downloaded the app for the husband to play along and now we are having our own competition haha how funny #1percentclub.”
