Meghan Markle’s star-making TV drama Suits is getting yet another boost soon as two former cast members are planning a new podcast.
However, the Duchess of Sussex is unlikely to be involved.
Duo Patrick J Adams and Sarah Rafferty, known for portraying Michael Ross and Donna Paulsen in the hit USA Network drama, are teaming with Sirius XM to host a rewatch podcast.
It comes after the series saw massive success last year when it arrived on Netflix in the USA, and all nine seasons will also air on the BBC soon.
Suits is also getting a new spin-off, Suits: LA, which is also unlikely to bring back Meghan’s character Rachel Zane.
Meghan was previously left out of a reunion with the cast for commercials at this year’s Super Bowl.
There’s a slim chance the wife of Prince Harry could make an appearance on Patrick and Sarah’s new show, considering her own podcast credentials.
However, she’s expected to be too busy launching her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, to get involved.
Cast members and crew will join the Suits alums as guests on the Sirius XM series, which will take fans through each episode of the long-running drama.
They’ll break down every episode and share some exclusive behind-the-scenes anecdotes, too.
In a statement, released by Deadline, the duo said: “On the heels of the record-breaking Suits resurgence, it feels like the perfect time to rewatch the show that changed our lives.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with the incredible team at SiriusXM and look forward to connecting with our friends from the cast and crew, as well as the Suits fans who made it all possible.”
And Adam Sachs, SVP of Podcast Content at SiriusXM, said: “As we continue SiriusXM’s mission to bring listeners closer to the stars they love, we are excited to team up with Patrick and Sarah to launch this new podcast dedicated to diving deep on a TV show with a passionate, record-setting audience.
“Through their work on the series, the beloved co-stars have developed an off-camera friendship that we know will be a treat for Suits fans, new and old. We can’t wait for you to listen.”
