Naked Attraction’s Anna Richardson says ‘watch this space’ as stage show in the works

A stage show of Naked Attraction complete with “interactive element” is reportedly in the works.

Producers of the popular Channel 4 show are in talks about doing a live theatre spin-off show. It would mean fans get to see it all in the flesh, and even get involved with what is happening on stage.

Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday, host Anna Richardson said: “We are talking about doing a live show of Naked Attraction that would be in a theatre. Imagine Naked Attraction live and interactive.

“Magic Mike has done it… Naked Attraction can do it. It would be interactive, it would be live and it would be fun. Watch this space.”

Since its launch in 2016, Naked Attraction has become one of the most talked about TV shows. Its divisive format sees singletons bare all in a bid to win a date based on how they look naked.

Anna however says it is an important show to be on the air. She said: “Naked Attraction is funny and we can laugh along, but at the same time it’s about acceptance and body positivity.

“So I’m excited about a live version. I think it can really work.”

The show has ran for seven series now and led to a number of spin-offs. It has been recreated across the globe with versions in Poland, Sweden, Spain and Germany.

It has even conquered America in recent months. The British version of the show has started to air on HBO Max, prompting even more viewers to discover it.

Hollywood star Emma Stone is among those to admit to being a fan. Discussing British television, she said: “My foray into it began with The Only Way is Essex of course, and then I learned about Naked Attraction and Gogglebox…

“I became completely crazy about it and in America the two shows are a double feature. They are back-to-back so it’s cosy family viewing followed by nakedness.”
