Nicki Minaj announces exciting new business venture but causes site to crash in meltdown

Nicki Minaj is super excited to share her latest project with fans, and it’s not about her music this time. She’s stepping into the world of fashion with a brand new trainer collection!

The singer is now part-owner of a fancy British brand and she’s ready to launch some cool trainers next month.

Nicki has joined forces with famous actor Leonardo DiCaprio to create a line of bright and fun trainers that will be available on April 12, thanks to her deal with the clothing company LCI.

She told her Instagram followers how thrilled she is, penning: “11 new pairs of my OWN sneaker. 11 completely different designs for you to choose from. An absolute dream come true. I can’t WAIT for you guys to see my 1st collection! ! ! ! “.

Nicki also said: “Link in bio to SIGN UP NOW! ! ! ! ! Thank you to my team for helping me make this dream come to fruition. This isn’t a sponsorship.

“I’m an owner and partner and we will be showing you the first complete collection on 4/12. Love you BARBZ. THANK YOU.”

After she announced her co-ownership of the British fashion label, which was first launched in 2021, the brand’s website reportedly crashed.

It’s thought that Nicki’s new shoes will cost between £150 to £200 and will be on sale in just a few days.

The black-owned business is already a favourite among many celebrities, including Ben Affleck, Olivia Wilde, Kristen Bell, Ed Sheeran and Robert Downey Jr.

The brand’s CEO Emmanuel Eribo hopes that having Nicki on the team will help “elevate” the business.

“LCI is all about working with people who believe in our mission and see the world in the way we do,” they explained.

“Having Nicki Minaj place her faith in us as an owner and her determination to elevate our brand on a global scale is a testament to our shared vision of challenging conventions and making a meaningful impact.”

She’s joining as a partner and co-owner, with Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio already an investor.

LCI sneakers, loved by A-list celebrities and influencers worldwide, are “internationally reputed for their use of next-gen materials including recycled ocean plastic and its latest collection made from bio-leather”, says the brand.
