Savannah Chrisley Reveals Dad Todd’s “Ironic” Teaching Job in Prison

Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley are working hard behind bars.

According to Savannah Chrisley, both of her parents are not only taking classes in prison while serving out their respective prison sentences for tax fraud, they’re also instructing their fellow inmates as well.

“Dad’s definitely taught some classes too,” the 26-year-old shared on the Oct. 3 episode of her Unlocked podcast. “Trauma is one of them. I think another one was a financial class, which, how ironic?”

The Chrisley Knows Best alum went on to explain the classes are part of the First Step Act, a federal program established in 2018 to help prisoners with their readmission into society after serving their sentences.

As for what classes her mom has been into, Savannah noted, “She taught a real estate class, she’s got all these certificates from teaching and completing classes and all these things. Overachiever Julie is. Always been.”

The reality stars reported to prison in January after being found guilty of wire fraud and conspiracy to commit bank fraud charges. Todd and Julie, who are currently appealing their convictions, were subsequently sentenced to 12 and seven years in prison. However, last month they had their sentenced reduced.
