After a longer-than-anticipated hiatus, The Rookie finally returns with season six and will pick up from its intense and cliffhanger ending.
The gripping finale saw a shock attack on the team which landed Officer Aaron Thorsen (played by Tru Valentino) in a post-surgical coma after being shot by the assailant.
While his survival has yet to be confirmed, Luke Moran (Chet Grissom) was found to be the leader of the masked criminals.
But following Luke’s disappearance in season one, John Nolan (Nathan Fillion) questioned if he was truly buying the whole plot.
Thankfully for fans, the ABC drama provided an insightful look into the new season and teased: “In the aftermath of the assaults in the explosive season five finale, the team must now try to understand why they were targeted and if there is a bigger plan in place.”

“I know what I think is going to happen this next season, but you tell me yours.”
