Victoria Beckham’s Paris Fashion Week show in chaos as PETA activists storm runway

Victoria Beckham’s much-anticipated Paris Fashion Week show at the Saint Germain on Friday was stormed by PETA activists campaigning against the fashion brand’s use of leather.

The activists interrupted the show as they joined the models on the catwalk while waving signs which read “Viva vegan leather” and “Animals are not fabric”.

The former Spice Girl’s brand incorporates leather in its clothes and accessories, including calf leather and lamb Nappa leather.

Victoria, 49, arrived at her big event on crutches after hurting her ankle during a workout. Despite her injury, the mum-of-four looked as glamorous as ever wearing smart black trousers, a black blouse, and her hair styled in tousled waves.

She was supported by her family as husband David, 48, daughter Harper, 12, sons Cruz, 19, Brooklyn, 24, and daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz, 29, sat in the front row.
