Who is Nigel Farage’s rumoured French girlfriend Laure Ferrari due to fly out to Australia

Nigel Farage’s rumoured mystery girlfriend who he has never gone public with before could be set to make a bombshell appearance at his side when he leaves the jungle on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.

Brexit champion Mr Farage, 59, has reportedly been dating French politician Laure Ferrari, 44, for around six years but the pair have never flaunted their entente cordial.

Ms Ferrari’s association with Mr Farage first came to light when his former wife, German national and politician Kirsten Farage, announced in 2017 that she and her husband had been living “separate lives” for several years.

Mr Farage has previously confirmed he was living with Ms Ferrari but initially described their arrangement as a “working relationship”.

The pair reportedly first met when Ms Ferrari was working as a waitress in Strasbourg, France, and Mr Farage was the leader of the UKIP party. It was after this meeting that Ms Ferrari embarked on a political career towards the nationalist spectrum of French politics.

A source told The Sun Mr Farage and Ms Ferrari may go public with their love after being inspired by former Conservative Health Secretary-turned celeb TV show contestant Matt Hancock.

Mr Hancock went public with his former aide and then girlfriend Gina Coladangelo on the programme after the pair had been caught kissing and embracing on CCTV during the covid pandemic.

The said: “Nigel and Laure have been linked for years, ever since she first moved into his house in Chelsea and was seen taking the bins out.

“Nigel has never confirmed the nature of their relationship and is incredibly private about his family life but there was a feeling if there was ever a time to open that door, it was now.

“It felt like a huge step for Matt Hancock to invite his controversial girlfriend Gina Coladangelo out to Oz last year but the move proved to be a PR masterclass and somewhat helped towards his redemption after their lockdown-busting affair.”

Meanwhile in the jungle Frenchman Fred Sirieix told Mr Farage he had “destroyed the economy” with his Brexit campaign on the latest episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The campmates have previously had an argument on the ITV1 reality TV show over advertisements used by Farage during the vote to the leave the European Union.

During Sunday’s episode, Farage said when he first stood in an election he said he did not care “if no one votes” for him.

He added: “I feel better about myself for doing this. I believe I’m doing the right thing.”

While making dinner, Sirieix interrupted saying: “The thing is Nigel, you destroyed the economy.”
