Kate and William leave fans emotional as they post new statement and heartwarming photos

Prince William and Princess Kate have turned their attention to the brave and inspirational women of the world as they mark International Women’s Day with a sweet message.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, their official page said: “Happy International Women’s Day! Celebrating the impact of amazing women today, and every day. Here are just a few of the brilliant women we’ve been inspired by over the past 12 months.”

Underneath they posted brief stories and pictures, explaining why they are highlighting these individuals – all of whom are people the future King and Queen have met in-person.

The first one is about mum Emma Webb who launched a suicide campaign following the death of her daughter in 2020. She pulled a life-size resin horse 160 miles from Chepstow to London, to honour her late child’s interest in horses.

The next featured a picture of Kate, who is currently away from the public spotlight as she’s recovering from abdominal surgery.

She is snapped smiling at Sarah Goldson who has directed the Wimbledon Ball Boy and Girl training since the 2012 Championships. “The training helps develop life skills among young people, with 280 BBGs selected from local schools,” their statement added.
