King Charles gives four-word health update after being urged to ‘get well soon’

King Charles offered a four-word health update after he was told by well-wishers to “get well soon” during his latest public appearance.

Greeting the public during the Easter Sunday service in Windsor, King Charles reportedly told people asking how he was that “I’m doing my best”.

The monarch, who is currently undergoing treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer, revealed his diagnosis last month.

Today’s appearance marks his first official royal duty since the shock reveal of his diagnosis on February 5, which came following further tests after his hospital stay in January.

King Charles was joined by his wife, Queen Camilla and various other royals for the annual occasion earlier today.

The King appeared in high spirits as he made his way into the service, closely followed by other royals – such as all three of his younger siblings.

The monarch and Queen Camilla stepped out of the state bentley and turned to wave at the waiting crowds.

King Charles wore his usual suit and tie as he greeted the public after spending the past few weeks undertaking few public-facing duties.

A member of the public also shouted out “Happy Easter” to the King. He was then heard replying, “And to you”.
