King Charles prepares to leave London for Sandringham now his cancer treatment has begun

King Charles is preparing to leave London and return to his beloved home in Sandringham, less than 24 hours after revealing he has been diagnosed with cancer.

The King is undergoing treatment for the condition but aides have refused to disclose at what hospital he is receiving out-patient care.

Charles has already commenced “a schedule of regular treatments” to battle cancer under the supervision of his specialist team of doctors, having returned to London on Monday from Sandringham.

The King is said to be “wholly positive about his treatment” and grateful that medics caught it early.

Having told those nearest and dearest to him about his condition, King Charles may be expecting more family members to pay him a visit.

Earlier today on February 6, Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi were pictured leaving King Charles’s London home at Clarence House.

Prince Harry also touched down in the UK at midday, after he was seen at a private terminal in LAX airport this morning – there is ongoing speculation where the Prince will reside during his visit.
