Leading players in the French media landscape, media groups La Dépêche and DC Company (Konbini, Le Gorafi, Les Éclaireuses, C'est Qui La Boss) announced on Thursday, September 5, that they have entered into a strategic partnership to strengthen the positioning and development of their brands. It is realized through the development of synergies between all the divisions of the two groups, as well as through the purchase of a minority stake, of approximately 5%, by the La Dépêche group in DC Company.

Through this association of two independent media groups, La Dépêche will be able to take full advantage of the recognized expertise of DC Company and its brands in creating original content designed for social networks. In turn, DC Company will benefit from the support of La Dépêche in its territorial strategy, which will enable it in particular to strengthen its regional roots in Occitanie and elsewhere.

The agreement signed between Jean-Nicolas Baylet, general director of La Dépêche group, and Geoffrey La Rocca, CEO of DC Company, is structured around three axes:

  • An editorial and creative partnership to provide state-of-the-art information and content while respecting the identities, editorial lines and independence of each group;
  • An advertising partnership opening up the possibility to build joint offers with the La Dépêche and DC Company brands;
  • A technological partnership between La Dépêche and DC Company teams, who will share their best practices to optimize their infrastructures and digital tools.
