Police reportedly rushed to a major incident in central London this morning as protesters threw “smoke bombs” at a conference.
The entrance to the Clinical Advisory Network on Sex and Gender (CAN-SG) conference was reportedly blocked by the protesters, causing Metropolitan Police officers to rush to the scene, according to social media reports.
Posting on X, one person at the conference said police attending the scene were “fantastic” and that no one was hurt.
They wrote: “Protesters threw smoke bombs and blocked the entrance to the CAN-SG conference. Police were fantastic. No one hurt.”
