Prince Harry is “permanently in a state of paranoia over The Firm betraying him”, a royal expert has claimed.
The Duke of Sussex launched a blistering attack on his estranged family in his explosive memoir Spare, which was released in January last year, and alleged his father’s second wife Camilla Parker Bowles leaked and planted information about him to the press in order to improve her standing in the Royal Family.
Harry claimed Charles and Camilla, along with their “spin doctor”, leaked stories about the prince’s visit to a drug rehab centre in 2002 and threw Harry “right under the bus”.
“I had complex feelings about gaining a step-parent who, I believed, had recently sacrificed me on her personal PR altar,” Harry wrote. “In a funny way I even wanted Camilla to be happy. Maybe she’d be less dangerous if she was happy? “.
His allegations against his estranged family have reportedly led to the father-of-two being on edge over his relationship with the Royal Family, and according to Royal author Tom Quinn, Harry is “paranoid” the monarchy will launch a counter-attack.

Tom told The Mirror: “Because Harry is so far away now from the day-to-day lives of the rest of the Royal family, he’s permanently in the state of paranoia about ‘The Firm’ betraying him or doing things without letting him know or planning things that will make him look bad.”
Harry has continued to make claims against his family while promoting his memoir, accusing the Royals of having a relationship with the British press involving “briefings, leakings, and plantings”.
In a chat with ITV’s Tom Bradby, Harry accused his family of getting “into bed with the devil”, suggesting Camilla had leaked a conversation she had with William.
He claimed his brother was angry over rumours that Charles, Camilla and her PR team were leaking stories about his private life.
Harry wrote: “Pa and Camilla’s people had planted a story or stories about him, and Kate, and the kids, and he wasn’t going to take it any more. Give Pa and Camilla an inch, he said, they take a mile.”
The Traitors are killing it in the ratings war, with the BBC series the clear winner after it went head-to-head with Love Island: All Stars for the first time. she sensationally claimed there were “three people” in her marriage to Charles.
“I have a huge amount of compassion for her, you know. Being the third person within my parents’ marriage and she had a reputation, or an image, to rehabilitate.
“Whatever conversations happened, whatever deals or trading was made right at the beginning, she was led to believe that that would be the best way of doing it,” Harry revealed.
