In the Hérault, four massifs will be completely off-limits, and three other sectors “strongly discouraged”. In the Gard, two massifs are placed at “very severe risk (red)”, with access completely prohibited, and three other areas at “moderate risk (yellow)”, with access and regulated activities. In Var, two massifs at “red” risk will be closed and another three placed at “yellow risk”. The same preventive measures in Vaucluse, where 11 massifs will be on “red” alert and access will be prohibited, especially those in the Luberon, and in Bouches-du-Rhône, where 23 massifs in total will be prohibited, including even St. -Baume (whose Var side will also be closed) and Sainte-Victoire, as well as the bays between Marseille and Cassis.
