“The players, the board and the managers got an incredible welcome in Vannes, by people who were excited to see Stade Toulouse and coaches who put on a magnificent party,” applauded the coach.
If the result, undoubtedly, was not what they hoped for (43-18), the people from Vannes left their mark in many other ways. In a full Rabine stadium, almost 12,000 people celebrated the first match in the history of RCV in the Top 14, with joy and respect for the opponent.
Thomas Ramos and Ugo Mola scored
In front of the red-black boss, other Toulouse made similar comments. Ugo Mola was the first to pay tribute to the home crowd after the match: “I didn't need to come to see that the respect for the scorers, the opposing team and the enthusiasm that this region puts behind this team is remarkable.”
