The case dates back to October 2022. While walking the aisles of a supermarket in Giberville, a pensioner is approached by a young man who convinces him to clean his facade. The old man accepts, and the next day an appointment is made at his home.
No ticket, invoice or contract
For a service of barely fifteen minutes, the bill is steep: it amounts to 120 euros, which the pensioner wants to pay immediately in cash. But the young man, preferring to pay with a bank card, pulls out a payment terminal. The trap then closes: instead of 120 euros, 1,200 euros are taken from the account of the nonagenarian, who, at the height of the scam, does not receive any ticket, invoice or contract.

However, the intervention of a vigilant neighbor allows the fraudster to be found without delay. He undertakes to reimburse the overpayment, but in the end he only gives 300 euros to the pensioner.
