At separate hearings last week by the Argentine courts, the plaintiff and the two XV players told two completely different stories about the evening of July 6 in Mendoza.

Released on conditions this Monday, August 12, by the prosecutor of Mendoza (Argentina), Hugo Auradou and Oscar Jegou, however, they still cannot leave the country. The two players of the XV of France remain indicted for qualified rape in a meeting.

A week ago, the two were heard at length by the courts, which two days earlier had collected the plaintiff's testimony in a second hearing. Our colleagues from Parisian managed to obtain details of the hearings regarding the conduct of the alleged acts on the night of July 6 to 7 in Mendoza.

The feeling of “being killed”

It appears, according to both sides' accounts, that the 39-year-old woman and Hugo Auradou met around 5am and were already drunk at a night club in the city, Wabi Fun Club. Le Palois then, according to the alleged victim's account, offered to drink from a plastic cup on several occasions. And to declare that she felt dizzy when she got into a cab with him moments later, heading to the hotel where the Blues were staying.

Upon entering the room, each person's testimony completely contradicted themselves. “We kiss, everyone undresses, he starts giving me oral sex,” says Hugo Auradou, who adds: “I felt that he had a lot of experience and that he took the initiative.” The version is completely different from that of the complainant who states that she felt like she was killed after being scratched, bitten, strangled, punched and even urinated on from head to toe. The player told him he peed himself in his sleep

“There was never a no let me go”

According to the second line, the relationship was unprotected but consensual. And the latter denies any brutality. “There was never a no, let me go, or violence,” he says.

Oscar Jegou later arrived in the room he shared with Hugo Auradou. The Rochelais family reported that his friend was then on one of the beds with a naked woman. A “slightly embarrassing” scene, according to him, but he decides to go to bed anyway. The appellant then joined him in his bed, according to the version in the third line, while Palois fell asleep. “I was very surprised, but I did not refuse, the pleasure was shared,” he told investigators.

The two denied having sex at the same time with the 30-year-old, which she claimed otherwise. And the latter talks about “butchery”, about “monsters”, listing several acts of violence against him in this hotel room.
