A special edition Subaru Crosstrek will reach Australian showrooms in April, building on the base-spec model with extra kit.
Priced at $36,990 before on-road costs, the 2.0X Special Edition is $2000 more than the base 2.0L.
However, it adds the following standard equipment:
- 18-inch alloy wheels with gloss finish
- Dark grey roof rails
- Automatic self-levelling LED headlights
- LED front fog lights
- ‘Premium’ charcoal cloth upholstery
- Heated front seats
- Leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter
- Dual-function X-Mode
That’s in addition to features found in the base 2.0L, which include:
- 11.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system
- Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
- Wireless phone charger
- Six-speaker sound system
- Dual-zone climate control
- Hill descent control
Both the 2.0L and 2.0X include a wide range of standard active safety and driver assist features, including:
- Adaptive cruise control
- Autonomous emergency braking (forward and reverse)
- Blind-spot monitoring
- Driver attention monitoring
- Lane-keep assist
- Lane centring assist
- Rear cross-traffic alert
The 2.0X is also available with the entire range of Crosstrek paint colours.
Pricing for the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek range is unchanged compared to 2023.

2.0S and 2.0R
The new-generation small SUV went on sale here in April 2023, offering a choice of two powertrains.
A 2.0-litre Boxer flat-four powers most variants, including the new Special Edition. It produces 115kW of power and 196Nm of torque and is mated with a continuously variable transmission.
A 2.0-litre e-Boxer hybrid four is available, with 110kW and 196Nm.
All models feature all-wheel drive.
