In August, Dodge showed A pair of special edition Durangos celebrating two decades of availability of the Hemi V-8 in an SUV nameplate. Now it's joined by a third, the Durango SRT Hellcat Hammerhead.
Like previous special offers, the Durango SRT Hellcat Hammerhead is available for the 2025 model year, and orders are open now. Prices start at $113,720.except for the destination, and Dodge didn't say how many build slots will be available, though slots are typically limited for such special editions.
The Hammerhead in the name comes from Dodge's Hammerhead Gray Laguna leather trim that's used on the seats. The car also boasts a dark blue exterior, a special shade called Night Moves. Other special touches include sepia for the SRT Hellcat logos on the seats, a matte black hood, and 20-inch wheels that are also painted matte black.
The Durango also comes standard with a long list of premium features. Some of the items include 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio systemsuede headliner, sunroof, carbon fiber interior accents, leather and suede steering wheel, wireless phone charger, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Brembo brakes are also included in the package.
2025 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Hammerhead
There is a spare under the hood. Hellcat 6.2-liter supercharged V-8It produces 710 horsepower in the Durango SRT Hellcat, enough for 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds, a quarter-mile time of 11.5 seconds, and a top speed of 180 mph. Those are impressive numbers for a midsize SUV with a third row of seats.
Dodge is preparing to say goodbye to the V-8 engine in the Durango, the brand's last model to offer the engine. As with the the last V-8 Challenger and Charger Muscle car maker Dodge will release a series of special “Last Call” editions to mark the end of the V-8 engine era in the Durango.
The first of these was revealed in January as 2024 Durango SRT 392 AlcHemiand more are planned for 2025.
