According to National Seismology, the earthquake was recorded at 4:26 am today and was located 82 km south of Salina Cruz; It has a depth of 16 km.

Meanwhile, the National Civil Protection Coordination (CNPC) reported that the Semar Tsunami Warning Center detailed that after the 5.0 magnitude earthquake:
“There are no significant variations in sea level, so it does not pose a danger to port operations or residents.”
So far, there have been no reports of damage due to the earthquake in Salina Cruz, Oaxaca.
