The Amazonas Civil Police (PC-AM) arrested, on Wednesday (16), a 37-year-old man for raping a vulnerable person against his own 13-year-old daughter. The arrest occurred 13 hours after the incident, in Manacapuru (68 kilometers from Manaus).
According to representative Mary Anne Trov茫o, from DEP through the Manacapuru Special Police Office (DEP), the investigative team became aware of the case after the victim's mother went to the police unit to register a Police Report (BO).
鈥淭he teenager reported to his mother that his father had touched his private parts, early Wednesday morning, while he was sleeping at the man's house. “After the complaint, the police team immediately went out and found the perpetrator at the house of one of his family members, when he was leaving for work, 13 hours after the crime occurred,” said the delegation.
The man was charged with rape of a vulnerable person and has been detained, in accordance with the Court's powers.
