A 41-year-old man was arrested this Saturday (19), accused of raping his own daughter since she was 11 years old. The arrests were made in the municipality of Parintins (369 kilometers from Manaus).
According to Police Chief Marna de Miranda, the team learned about the case on Thursday (17), when the victim's mother, who is now 15 years old, made a Police Report (BO) informing them that it was the same thing. One day, she finds out that her daughter is a victim of constant sexual abuse by her father, her husband.
Based on this first fact, on the same day, we handed over the victim to the Sexual Violence Victim Assistance Service (Savvis) protocol and collected other evidence, including reports. Therefore, we asked the Court to arrest the suspect, and it was granted,” said Marna de Miranda.
According to the delegation, on Saturday morning, the team took to the field and managed to comply with the court order issued against the man. The victim remains under the care of the family, receiving all necessary support to alleviate the irreversible trauma.
The man will be charged with rape of a vulnerable person, he will stand trial and will be available in court.
