À Period pays tribute to Some Gimenez for her 40th anniversary in the music world with a special evening dedicated to the artist. This Saturday, May 25 at 10 p.m., Valencian television will offer the festive concert recorded in the Palau de les Arts de Valencia in 2023. Viewers will enjoy the voice of Sole Giménez, who is accompanied by major artists, in a review of the best-known songs from her long career.
Some Gimenez, Alma de Blues 40 years of music (1983-2023) is the title of the concert with which Sole shares the joy of these four decades with his audience and his people. They are the hits from the Presuntos Implicados era and songs that the composer performed alone. The gala will feature guest artists with whom he has shared the stage, such as Miguel Poveda or Joan Manuel Serrat, and other very important people for Sole, such as his daughter Alba, with whom he will sing a duet with the song he owes to her assigned. before she was born (My little darling).
Prior to the concert broadcast, À Punt will premiere a documentary of the same name, Blues soul. An overview of the singer's career and life, from her beginnings to her successes, her personal life as a creator, her solo career and her social obligations.
The commemorative documentary for 40 years of history is also a story told with many voices. People who have had a relationship with Sole Giménez as a composer, wife, mother, activist and interpreter of many themes that live in our collective imagination.
