After the rain, more than 22 thousand people in SP did not have electricity

A total of 22,135 customers of Enel, the energy concessionaire, experienced power outages this Sunday morning (20) in the state of São Paulo, after rain on Saturday (19). According to the company, this number represents 0.27% of total users.

In the capital São Paulo alone, there are 15,570 properties without power, and this is the most affected area in absolute terms. Next was São Bernardo do Campo, with 2,693 customers without power.

According to the state's Civil Defense, Sunday will be marked by unstable weather across the state, with the cold wave already moving away from the São Paulo region.

“The temperature will not rise too high and the thermal sensation will be milder. There is no risk of hurricanes in any area monitored,” he said in a note.

The agency added that there was a possibility of heavy rain followed by lightning, especially in cities bordering the south of Minas Gerais. In addition, as the ground is already soaked due to accumulation over the last 24 hours, Civil Defense recommends paying attention to more vulnerable areas, as there is a risk of disturbance.
