Another 150 Mexican Army troops arrived in Culiacan

Another group of 150 soldiers Minister of National Defense (Sedena) arrived this Tuesday afternoon at Culiacan, Sinaloawith the aim of strengthening crime prevention and intelligence cooperation with the country's Secretariat of Public Security and the National Guard.

This new contingent is part of the commitments set out at the Security Cabinet meeting on October 8 in the capital Sinaloa.

The soldiers arrived by land and at the Culiacán-Mazatlán Maxipista toll gate, near the Costa Rican government, they were received by Army Special Forces.

It happened last Saturday, October 12, when the Governor of Sinaloa, Rubén Rocha Moya, sent a message through his social networks, in which he revealed that more elements of law enforcement would arrive in the state.

Among them, elements of special forces and elements of the National Guard will arrive, 312 of which are already in the state and an additional 300 are on their way to “strengthening close working and preventive measures in Culiacan.”
