The Week 2 game between the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins was a very concerning one for Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who suffered his third diagnosed concussion in the last two calendar years and was forced to leave the contest.
The future of his career is now in question, as several people within the NFL are calling for him to retire for the sake of his family and health.
But in a touching gesture, Bills fans made significant donations to the Tua Foundation, which helps support the health and well-being of children.
“Tua's foundation received more than $16,000 in donations overnight, much of it from Bills fans,” The Sporting News wrote on X.

The “Bills Mafia,” as Buffalo fans are often called, can be a rough and tumble bunch, but they've shown incredible class since Tagovailoa's latest setback.
He suffered two concussions during the 2022 season, and that's when people first started to speculate that it was time for him to retire.
He admitted that he considered retiring that offseason, but instead adapted his training to learn how to fall in a way that his head couldn't withstand such a forceful impact.
The Bills easily beat the Dolphins in the AFC East earlier this season, and even without four-time Pro Bowler Stefon Diggs, who they traded away this offseason, they look like the best team in the division again.
Third-year starter Khalil Shakir may be developing into a star, and the same can be said for third-year starter James Cook, who scored three touchdowns against Miami.
