CANAPAT and DGAF will work to improve passenger transport mobility – El Financiero

To guarantee accessible, sustainable and safe passenger transport and tourism, the National Chamber of Passenger Transport and Tourism (CANAPAT) and the Directorate General of Federal Transport (DGAF) Secretariat for Infrastructure, Communications and Transport (SICT) will work together during the new administration.

CANAPAT announced that its National Board of Directors, led by Luis Antonio Zaldívar Sánchez, president of the board, held its first working meeting with the new director of DGAF, Luis Ruiz, to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the sector.

Among the highlights are: mechanisms to strengthen supervision, increase training and professionalization of drivers; continuing the fleet renewal and energy transition program, as well as increasing the mobility of motorized passenger transport users.

During the meeting, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to improving mobility through cooperation where dialogue will be prioritized in finding solutions to every problem of permit holders and user needs.
