The candidate for Mayor of Manaus, Captain Alberto Neto (PL), voted at the Colégio Nossa Senhora Auxiliadora, in the center of the Amazonas capital, this Sunday morning (27).
On this occasion, the PL candidate expressed confidence in the election process and was confident that he would be elected by the people of Manaus.
“Our project is to leave a legacy, to serve society, no one is here for power, or power just for power. We made an alliance, the politician must be with the people, he can never break ties, and the people brought us here. “We are very confident about this election, so far it has not been easy,” he said.
In a press conference, Captain Alberto Neto took the opportunity to defend himself against the Tax Reform vote controversy, which threatens the benefits given to the Manaus Free Trade Zone (ZFM).
“They spread out fake news that I voted against the Free Zone. I was the representative in history who passed the most laws, and these laws made the Free Zone prosperous today. If Samsung is here, it has Captain Alberto Neto's fingerprints on it,” he stressed.
