Ciudad Juárez— A man died moments after entering a hospital after being shot in the streets of the Parajes de San Isidro subdivision shortly before midnight on Tuesday.
Witnesses indicated that two armed men intercepted the victim, who was riding a bicycle, in a park on Volcán Arenal and María Teresa Rojas streets.
There he was initially beaten and once on the ground he was riddled with bullets, leaving him injured.
Rescue paramedics arrived at the scene and took him to hospital with gunshot wounds to the chest, arms and head.
However, moments after his arrival, the death of a patient identified as 25-year-old Kevin Ávila Ríos was reported, which became the 46th premeditated murder this month in the Northern Zone Prosecutor's Office statistics.
