Deputy Transport Minister investigates inspectors who let 'crooked' trucks go

City of Juarez.– Northern State's Deputy Secretary of Transportation reported this afternoon that they have initiated an investigation after an inspector from the agency was photographed stopping a school bus providing transportation services to the maquiladora and letting it go.

In a statement, the agency reported that it is considering imposing sanctions on the inspector, although this will be announced once the investigation is complete.

This Monday, the unit with economic number 992 was caught stopping a yellow truck whose number had been painted on the bottom with shoe ink. The incident was recorded at Perimetral Carlos Amaya and Cartagena Street as two other similar trucks were leaving the Juárez Industrial Park.
