The head of the Coahuila Ministry of Public Security, Federico Fernández Montañez, indicated that the State Police, in coordination with the Mexican Army and the National Guard, continues surveillance measures to guarantee security in Torreón.
He highlighted that through surveillance, prevention, proximity, intelligence and strategic action, the city will remain safe, preventing access by criminal groups from other countries.
Fernández Montañez recalls that in the face of the disintegration of the Torreón Reaction Group by the local City Council, they acted decisively and quickly to integrate its elements into the state forces, without the municipal dispositions affecting the citizens.
“Our different companies, including PAR, as well as our coordination with the Mexican Army and the National Guard will not allow the entry of criminal cells. We have security filters, routes in the neighborhood, public lands and roads to maintain the protection of Torreón, said Fernández Montañez.
The Kapolhukam added that with the increasing number of state apparatus elements, their presence is increasingly reflected, and their duties are visible in the state coordination table.
