Red Bull was told to find Max Verstappen new partner with Sergio Perez still fighting alongside the Dutchman.
Former rider Marc Surer believes that half of the current line-up will perform better than Perez, brutally crushing the Mexican.
Surer told Motorsport-Total: “Any driver can deliver this kind of performance, Sergio Perez does. I would do something about it.
“I'm just saying that half the Formula 1 drivers would probably do better, so why not take a chance and put another driver in the car?
“If the car is easier to drive, then yes, Perez is the one who can beat Max. He is the one who can handle an understeer car very well.”
